Nine citizens have lost their lives as a result of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Albania.
The Ministry of Health said that the patients who passed away are a 46-year-old man from Durrës, a 48-year-old man from Mirdita, 2 men from Tirana aged 58 and 78, 2 men from Vlora 66 and 80 years old, a 69-year-old
man from Saranda, a 73-year-old man from Korça and an 82-year-old man from Kruja.
According to the announcement, 195 citizens were confirmed positive with coronavirus, out of 2,569 tests performed, a figure lower than recent days.
New cases were recorded in the following municipalities: 109 in Tirana, 10 in Fier, 7 in Durrës, Kamëz, Vlora and Berat, and fewer in other districts.
The Ministry of Health stated that 161 patients are currently receiving treatment at COVID Hospitals, of which 15 are in a more serious condition.
