The citizens of Tirana today gave many wishes of congratulations and hopes for the coming New Year, among which the defeat of the pandemic and the increase of the people’s well-being prevailed.
“I will call my brother in Italy. May this year be happy for our families and all Albanians. Health, joy and peace!”, says one of the interviewed citizens.
Meanwhile his brother on the phone from Italy also gave his wish:
“I have been working in Italy for 18 years, as an nurse in resuscitation. I am the director of the branch of the Red Cross for Sicily. Tonight I will work the night shift, I will not be close to the family. But I’m proud that as an immigrant I have come this far. I am proud to be Albanian and I have tried to give my best and strengthen the values of Albanians around the world. I wish you a happy 2021 for all Albanians. Happy new year sister! ”
Another citizen said: “I am 78 years old. I will raise the dolly for the children, but also for you journalists and your sacrifices. For our doctors, a toast from the heart”.
“We came from America to celebrate with our family. After the storm the sun will rise. 2021 will be a good year. Good health to all! ”
