NATO General in Tirana: Not true that USA wants to occupy Iran

In a meeting with a group of former Albanian MPs in Tirana, the NATO General, Michael Barbero, spoke about the NATO summit and the current situation in Iran and Iraq.
“It is not true that the USA wants to occupy Iran”, the General said.
“The killing of General Soleimani was made for preventing war.
“Iran has organized several sophisticated attacks without any response from us.
“We have taken the necessary steps to protect our people.
“The Nuclear Agreement with Iran was not good. We need to negotiate another one”, Barbero declared.
A few years ago, the Albanian troops in Iraq were under the command of General Barbero.
