Today, Albanian Muslim believers celebrated Eid al-Adha by spreading messages of peace and love.

After the Eid al-Adha prayer in “Skanderbeg” square in Tirana, the president of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu said that this holiday should serve as a turning point by avoiding hatred and increasing cooperation, in order to build a better world.

“Happy Eid al-Adha to all Albanians. This is a holiday that symbolizes sacrifice. With this event God wanted to bring a law to earth, that of love, respect and cooperation. We now live in a globalized world and have many challenges ahead in our undestanding and cooperation with others. It’s a big challenge to build a better world. We must work together to make a better world, around the family. The message for Muslim believers is to leave hatred behind, to be close and cooperate with each other “, said Spahiu, among other things.
