The Vlore Prosecution seized 89 hectares of land, valued at 110 million
EUR in Zvernec, in an area with high potential for tourism investments.
The land was received illegally by Raimond Mezi, the same person who has taken 220 hectares in Karaburun. According to the Prosecution, the scheme was realized by the same people who have registered the land illegally in Karaburun.
The land in Zvernec was registered at the Vlore Property Office with false documents and through a fictive trial.
The investigations found that Raimond Mezi has received 80 hectares in 2003, received by Skerdilajd Konomi. The verdict is fictive, since the late Konomi was not a judge by the year when it was issued.
The falsified case was archived and registered by Blerina Dhrami, who is under investigation.
The Prosecution has not explained if the forgery was realized before or after the judges murder.
