03/01/2013 00:00

Police suspects that the 41-year-old emigrant, Agron Dervishi, was
killed during a robbery. Police says that unidentified persons have
ambushed him, taken his wallet and then killed him.

Police says that the victim was found dead near his car at the Mazrek village, Kashar. Police found two shells coming out of two different weapons.

Police declare that there’s also another lead, that of a possible retaliation, since the victim has been living for 15 years in Italy and there have been other cases when retaliation executions have been carried out when the persons involved return to their families for the New Year’s celebrations.

Police says that the victim was known as a calm person and without problems, but they can’t exclude that he might have had problems in Italy. As regards the robbery, police says that since the victim lived in Italy and owned a business in Firenze, the robbers might have thought that he had considerable amount of money on him.

Besides this, the victim had 100.000 ALL in his car, according to the relatives, and police was unable to find them. However, it is unclear how the victim had stopped the car if he didn’t know the robbers, who have shot him from a close distance.
