Strazimiri, reacted tonight for the press and said he never has accepted
gifts or guns that are not given to him by the state.
He said that “the gangs in power” (the government) lied when they said he had handed over another gun at the police. Strazimiri added:
“I have never accepted any gift by anyone. The truth for this case is very simple, because you cannot find a gun without an end user certificate which shows whoever has used and carried that gun. If it has entered Albania without that certificate, it is considered traffic”, Strazimiri said.
Strazimiri invited the media to look into the document. He reiterated he never has admitted any gun from any other person rather than what has been given to him by the state. Strazimiri added that the Minister of Interior has access to the entire information that is necessary to prove this.
“I will follow all legal steps to bring to justice anyone who has produced, fabricated and distributed false stories to misinform the public opinion and to denigrate my persona”, the Democratic Party MP declared.
