More Kosovans abandon citizenship

In the last three years, the number of Kosovo citizens who have requested to abandon their citizenship has increased.
Only in the first five months of this year, the total number of Kosovo citizens who have given up from the Kosovo citizenship, according to the Interior Ministry, was 1566 persons.
According to RTK, the Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi confirms that this is a very concerning problem.
Minister Rexhepi says that Kosovans abandon their citizenship only for receiving citizenships from other countries where they have been working.
