The Voci family, from Gjader, Lezhe, has 5.5 million EUR seized, and several apartments they had recently bought from companies and various persons.

The money was donated by the Swedish billionaire, Sten Ake Lindholm.

Top Channel has obtained a court document which says that two of the apartments were bought from the Democratic Party MP, Edi Paloka (one for 8.7 million ALL, and the other for 70.000 EUR).

Apartments were also bought from the former Democratic Party MP, Flamur Hoxha: three apartments and three garages, a total of 729.000 EUR.

These and a series of other real estate objects are now seized by the Albanian authorities. The Prosecution, seeing the large transactions, had reasonable doubt that this was a case of money laundering.

Most of these apartments were sold last August, when Voci received millions of Euros from the Swedish businessman, saying that it was a gift to his dear friend.

The senior couple, Voci, have a daughter who has made a career in Lindholm’s businesses.
