Ministry of Finances: “Tax threshold for online purchases equal to EU countries”

The Ministry of Finances say the decision for lowering the tax
threshold for online purchases from 150 to 22 EUR, makes Albania’s
procedure equal to other EU countries.

The Ministry says this is the limit used by all countries in the EU, even other non-EU countries of the region, such as Kosovo and Macedonia.

The Ministry clarified the procedures in cooperation between the Customs Directory and the Post of Albania.

The Post of Albania will allow citizens to complete the customs declaration and tax payment through online systems.
