2017 has not arrived yet, but the electoral atmosphere is already felt.
In the first seven months of this year, the Minister of Finances, Arben
Ahmetaj, said that the fiscal package for 2017 will have no higher
taxes.
“The Prime Minister and the government have decided to keep taxes unchanged. Businesses should be sure that the tax system will keep getting better”, Ahmetaj declared.
In order to regulate the relations with private enterprises, the Minister of Finances appealed businesses to present their propositions on the procedures they want to have easier.
“I have invited all business associations and commerce chambers to suggest us how we can make tax procedures easier”, Ahmetaj said.
