Minister: Next delivery of Pfizer vaccines on Monday, the first delivery from Covax in March

The Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu, while following today the vaccination process at the National Arena stadium, informed about the process and the supply of injections.

“We continue the vaccination in the National Arena of the medical staff. We will also continue on Saturday and Sunday with the medical staff and the elderly over 80 years old. There are about 11 thousand vaccinations performed so far, while a vaccination center opened today in Kukës and within a week, in Korça”, said the Minister.

Manastirliu added that new supplies of vaccines are coming from next week.

“Next week arrives the next shipment of vaccines from Pfizer.

While in the first 10 days of March, comes the first shipment from the contract with Covax, planned for about 14,400 doses”, she added.
