Mimoza Hafisi has returned to the critics of Edi Rama. After being
excluded from the party in 2009, she was one of the main voices critic
to Rama, and asked him to resign after the elections.
But after being part of the Shkoder district candidates, things seemed to be calmer. However, Blushi’s appearance seemed it wasn’t really that way.
TCH: What pushed you to support Ben Blushi’s propositions?
Mimoza Hafizi: “The rule of laws at the SP for the election of the party leader need to be done every four years. I have discussed it with many colleagues and have not agreed with this situation”.
TCH: How will you continue this support for Ben Blushi?
Mimoza Hafizi: “Normally, within the party rules”.
TCH: Which are?
Mimoza Hafizi: “Which are constant discussion between all colleagues, together with the request to have the party leader election in the next congress agenda”.
Hafizi seems determined to continue her stance, despite the political costs.
“My personal destiny is not related to the political and university life that I have. But I believe my cause and in my freedom to say things as they are. If we don’t discuss things, things will not change in Albania. I am not in danger and I am trying to bring the best of what I can do in the political life. Even if there was danger, it is worth it if you trust in your cause”, Hafizi declared.
TCH: Are there other MPs who support Blushi?
Mimoza Hafizi: “I trust there will be. But anyone speaks for himself.
She seems to agree with Blushi on this point, who says there are other MPs who think like him and want elections in the party.
