During his visit in France, the Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, was received by the President of the French National Assembly, Claud Bartolone, with whom he discussed the reinforcement of the relations between Albania and France, the EU progress and the developments in the region.
Bartolone expressed his pleasure for this meeting, especially after the positive developments of the past year, noting the fair elections, power transition and cooperation in Parliament.
Meta and Bartolone both declared that the relations between France and Albania are excellent, and underlined the need to reinforce the political, economic and cultural exchanges even further.
Meta declared that Albania is an activy country of the Francophonia, and that it welcomes the inclusion of France in our country and the region.
