The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, wished a happy Summer Day to the children who gathered in Tirana’s city center.
Veliaj said that the children were the focus of the activities organized by the Municipality. “I am happy that we had enough space for ambulatory vendors and children who were able to play. This city has room for everyone, as long as everyone respects his space”, Veliaj said.
The Mayor promised that 2016 will be a special year for Tirana, which, according to him, has turned into a construction site.
“This will be a great year for Tirana. We will open several working sites. We will start it with the Scanderbeg square, which might turn into the most beautiful square in the region”, Veliaj declared.
When asked about the football team of Tirana, Veliaj said that he asked share-holders to meet and discuss the issue.
