Mat commune leader under investigation

Seven officials of the Lis commune, in Mat, including the Head of the
Commune, are accused of forging documents with an economic damage of 10
million ALL.
The Mat Prosecution says that after the investigations, they have verified fictive payments.
The commune has paid for internal services which are fictive. There is a public procurement procedure for buying 160 printer paint packages, while the commune has no printers at all.
The vehicle of the commune, a Land Rover valued 1.8 million ALL, was sold to the head of the commune for 125.000 ALL, 1.6 million less than the real price.
The Prosecution is investigating citizen Agim Selita, head of the commune, and six officials.
