Lefter Koka becomes the second socialist new MP to renounce the mandate

After doctor Najada Çomo, another socialist MP of the recent April 25 elections, has handed to PM Rama the renunciation from the mandate and from politics.
Lefter Koka is one of Ilir Meta’s closest former allies with the SMI party, but later became one of Edi Rama’s favorite socialists.
Koka shared his decision with his Durres voters in a message on Facebook, in which he does not convey any details about the motives for his resignation.
Lefter Koka’s message: “Today is the day for my political journey to be continued by those thousands of my collaborators, who made me a winner for years and who I may never have been able to thank enough.
The future belongs to them! ”
Koka’s departure seems to resemble the earlier departure of MP Tom Doshi, as both of these politicians have been at the center of opposition accusations.
