A battle of criminal lawsuits has started between the Tirana Police and
the Democratic Party, after the violent confrontation at the Tirana
Artificial Lake.
MP Arben Ristani, from the DP, and lawyer Ivi Kaso, have filed a lawsuit against the Tirana Police for the violence seen at the protest. Moments later, the police reacted by suing eight Democratic Party MPs at the Prosecution General.
The eight MPs are accused of using violence against the police, including Gent Strazimiri, who is accused of illegal arm possession. The sued Parliament Members are: Gent Strazimiri, Flamur Noka, Ridvan Bode, Genc Pollo, Albana Vokshi, Arben Ristani, Asllan Dogjani, Gerti Bogdani and Edi Paloka.
