The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, inspected the Tirana-Elbasan road construction site.
The leader of the project explained him that everything is in its final phase, and one side of the road is expected to be opened by March. The entire road will be opened in May.
“We have realized 93% of the project, in the most problematic area. We need 800.000 USD for completing it”, the project leader declared.
The Prime Minister said that the initial project was made without a geological study. The rush, for electoral reasons, doubled the cost of the road.
