The Government of Kosovo supports KFOR and EULEX for their operations in
north, but they have asked for an accelerated dynamics for removing the
roadblocks.
This was the declaration of the Deputy Prime Minister, Hajredin Kuci, who underlined that the roadblocks should be removed without compromise.
Kuci also added that the Government of Kosovo is ready to talk with the Northern Serbs, but not with the Serbian parallel structures that are acting there.
“KFOR is doing a good job in north, but they must act faster”, Kuci declared, after a Kosovo Government meeting.
The Prime Minister Thaci will face tomorrow an interpellation at the Parliament about the northern situation.
Kuci commented about this by saying that the government is ready to debate and accept any Parliament decision.
As for the dialogue with Serbia, Kuci added that Kosovo respects all obligations, while Serbia’s position will depend on USA and EU that supervise the process.
