43 MPs of the Kosovo Parliament have requested an extraordinary session to repeal the Special Court, which has alarmed the USA, EU and especially Great Britain.
The US Ambassador to Prishtina, Greg Delawie, said that if this move is successful, it will be considered a backstabbing by the USA and it will have extremely negative implications for the future of Kosovo as part of Europe.
The British Ambassador in Kosovo also spoke against this move. He declared at Parliament that this could be the most dangerous night of Kosovo, since the war. He said that if Kosovo blocks the Special Court, no one will believe that Kosovo is interested in the rule of law.
