Kosovo President met Pope Francis

The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, was received this Thursday in
Vatican by Pope Francis. On his social networks, Thaci describes the
meeting as very warm and valued the commitments of the Holy Father for
promoting peace.

“The meetings with Pope Francis are always very warm. His commitment for social justice and for promoting human rights is an inspiration for the entire world”, Thaci said.

Thaci said that Pope Francis share the same ideals with the People of Kosovo, which is a model of harmony between different communities and religions.

“Kosovo has built a friendly relation with the Holy See, which we are going to cultivate eternally”, Thaci wrote on his profile.
