After the family celebrations, Kosova Christian believers at midnight on December 24, gathered at the Cathedral “St. Mother Teresa” in Pristina, for the Mass of the Nativity.

Despite the pandemic situation, they were allowed to hold Mass on the condition that every believer be disinfected at the entrance of the cathedral, put on the mask and keep physical distance.

The greatest prayers on this holy holiday, undoubtedly were for the pandemic to end and the year 2021 to start well for humanity.

The greatest recognition from the Bishop of Kosovo, Monsignor Dodë Gjergji was addressed to the medical staff, while he said that the celebration this year is more beautiful as it will be celebrated with more spiritual devotion.

He invited political and institutional leaders to rebuild the lost trust with each other. In addition to Pristina Cathedral, Christmas Mass was held in other churches in Kosovo, with the same anti-Covid security measures.
