The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, held a meeting today with the
leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, and the
Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, in an effort for creating the
institutions of Kosovo.
In this meeting requested by President Jahjaga was present the US Ambassador, Tracey Ann Jacobson.
Thaci and Mustafa agreed in principle for building a coalition between their parties, in order to build the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo based on the Constitutin and the verdicts of the Constitutional Court.
Both political leaders underlined their dedication in closing the process for building the basic constitutional institutions of Kosovo, which would preserve the multi-ethnic character of Kosovo, and which would fulfill the international obligations of law and order, and for reinforcing the Euro-Atlantic path of Kosovo.
