Kosova tourists flock to the Morina border-crossing for a weekend in Albania

This Saturday morning, the Morina border crossing had a high flow of vehicles from Kosova citizens. According to the report of the Morina border police, until 9 o’clock in the morning about 1,700 vehicles with about 4700 Kosova citizens passed to Albania.

Thousands have chosen to spend the weekend in Albania taking advantage of the easier coronavirus restrictive measures, compared to the restrictions taken by Kosovo.

It is learned that the Border Police is working with 4 counters, to avoid long queues, while an influx of vehicles headed to Kosovo has been noticed.

Kosovo continues to have a high number of Covid-19 infected patients with currently 13 561 cases.
