One day after the arrest of the Egyptian hijacker of “Celepia 2” ship,
the Foreign Ministry declared the Egyptian authorities have found Luan
Mema on board, tied up, but they have no information about captain
Dhimiter Malja.

The Albanian Embassy in Egypt is offering assistance to Mema while local law enforcing agencies are working to find Malja’s whereabouts.

Sources from Top Channel say that Mema declared that he had been poisoned and set to sleep by the Egyptian sailor, and woke up with his limbs tied.

Mema might have left the board since June 20th, but no verifications have been done.

Salam kidnapped the two co-workers on June 21st and demanded 70.000 EUR of ransom, claiming he had not been paid, claims that the owner of the ship denied.
