Judges punch each-other with fists in the corridors of Vlora administrative court

The Administrative Court of Vlora continues its work amid an open conflict between two of its three judges. The judges in question do not talk to with each other and in cases where the court corridor forces them to be close to each other, they erupt in insults or punches.

The two judges are Ken Dhima and Bevis Shehaj. The first accuses the youngest colleague for incompetent court decisions, while the second has filed a lawsuit against the other in higher institutions.

The physical clash between them was filmed by the security cameras of the administrative court of Vlora and the video is still on the servers of this court, but the leaders say that the video can only be taken by the prosecution if there is an investigation into the case.

The physical clash between the judges, Bevis Shehaj and Ken Dhima has hindered the work of the court but the “work” continues in the same situation without any measures against them.

Earlier, Judge Bevis Shehaj issued a decision in 2020 to exclude Dhima as a judge from a court case for a property conflict in a residential building in Lushnja. The Ministry of Justice then received a complaint from the other party to the conflict against Judge Ken Dhima and opened a disciplinary investigation against him.
