The Territory Protection Task Force claims that the “Jon” complex
construction in the Uji I Ftohte area, Vlore, was built amid serious law
violations.
As Chairman of this Task Force, the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, asked prosecution against judges, real estate registration officers, chief inspectors and inspectors of the Property Compensation and Return Agency. A 49-page material was sent to the Vlore Prosecution, with a report that includes all relations with serious real estate ownership law violations, with the implementation of the construction permit, and problems created by this construction for the tourist development perspective.
The Minister asked for prosecution against the Chief Inspector and some other inspectors of the Urban Construction Inspectorate, and also against the Vlore Municipality, for not supervising its urban territory. According to the report, the Municipality’s inspectors have allowed more than 1000 square meters of construction, including an additional construction part, a pool and a parking lot.
The report goes even beyond that, and affects judges. According to the report, they have returned a coastline property by going against the laws. They have increased the area fictively, which has made owners take terrain even on the sea.
This property has been allowed by the court, and they have accepted an expert act that makes Albanian territorial waters go under private ownership of an individual.
The report asks for criminal prosecution of the Commission and those who have prepared the technical expertise acts for the Court, together with the judge panel, which allowed this action, and which has intentionally refused to take act, in cooperation with each other, by causing a concrete and real damage to the state. The task force has asked a criminal prosecution against the real estate registration officers and employees of the Real Estate Registration Office in Vlore. The task force asked their immediate suspension and criminal prosecution.
