The humanitarian organization Caritas Albania inaugurated today the construction of 9 new houses in the city of Belsh in central Albania, which were damaged by the November 2019 earthquake.
At the ceremony of completion of houses with members of 9 families from Belshi, the chairman of the parliamentary group of the ruling Socialist Party, Taulant Balla thanked the representatives of Caritas Albania for the support given.
“There are not only 9 houses that have been built, but there are 9 families that until recently did not have a roof to house their children. This is the most beautiful way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Caritas in Albania. After three decades, it continues with the same commitment as it came on the first day in Albania”, said Balla, adding that Albania and Italy are very interconnected with one another.
