The ISIS fighter who threatened to plant terror and explosives in
Albania is Almir Daci from Leshnica, Pogradec, a former imam of the
Leshnica mosque.
Daci is known by the anti-terror Directory as a person who recruited youth for ISIS.
One of them was killed last year. Denis Hamzaj, another soldier from Leshnica, recruited by Daci, was also killed during firefights.
The Anti-Terror suspects that Daci has taken other young residents from around his mosque.
Police is already surveilling his residence in Leshnica. Authorities have taken the threat seriously, although it was just a message on social networks.
The Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, ordered everyone to take measure while neighboring countries have information about a possible movement of ISIS suspects to Albania.
Daci is wanted by international authorities for terrorism and would have it very difficult to travel.
Authorities have started looking for the other fighter, from Kosovo, who made a threat.
