As previously announced, the Ministry of Health has announced the opening of a third hospital for the treatment of patients with Covid-19, which is located in the former Surgery building, inside the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center.
Friday marked a record number of 301 hospitalizations in two Covid hospitals and as a result all capacities were exhausted.
The Minister of Health Manastirliu announced that after the filling up of the places in the hospitals Covid-1 and Covid-2, the Covid-3 Hospital was opened, in the University Hospital “Mother Teresa”.
“Covid-3 has all the necessary equipment and standards for the treatment of patients with Covid-19, at the same time being led by a qualified and highly experienced team of doctors. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have not interrupted for any moment the training of the nursing staff that will serve in our Covid hospitals. Covid-3 patients will also be served by a team of trained and experienced nurses serving patients during the pandemic period,” she said.
