Ministry of Defense announced today that the high intensity of rain and snow fall has increased roads and electricity problems in some areas of the country.
They added that the local government structures are working to unblock the Bogë-Qafë Thorë road axes from the snow, while in Gjirokastra the work continues on the Zhlati road and also in Lazarat.
Currently the river flows are within their beds and the Albanian Armed Forces are placed on standby for any need by the local government structures.
Snowfalls in Bulqiza district have caused problems in some segments of rural roads, mainly in the administrative units of Ostren, Zerqan, Fushë Bulqizë, Trebisht and in some villages of Martanesh and Shupenzë units.
