Hundreds of citizens have come out tonight in protest at the Ministry of Interior and then in front of the Prime Minister’s office, demanding justice for the murder by a police officer of 25-year-old Klodjan Rasha.

With the slogans  “We want justice”, “Down with communism”, “Lleshaj resign”, the protesters came together to oppose the extreme act of the police on the morning of December 8.

The protest reportedly has no organizer, but citizens organized themselves on social networks.

After about an hour protesting at the Ministry of Interior, the protesters seeking justice for the police brutal murder moved to the Prime Minister’s office.

At one point, some individuals set fire to the Christmas tree placed at the Prime Minister’s Office while others hit the police officers with various objects.

As the protest carried on, increased police forces arrived at the scene, making several arrests.
