Julian Sinanaj confessed two years ago of being a hired assassin who had
commitetd several crimes, making the Prosecution declare they had
discovered a criminal group who had committed at least 15 crimes.
However, after some time Sinanaj has started denying his former claims, one after another.
Sinanaj told the Court of Serious Crimes that he has nothing to do with the explosive placed at the house of MP Ardian Kollozi; with the murder of business Agron Cela; with the murder allegedly ordered by Marion Mitro against former Prefect Besnik Dervishaj.
Sinanaj said police had forced him to admit the crimes, but he knew nothing about the real author. Sinanaj was reported by his collaborator, Ndricim Gjokona, while preparing another bombing attempt.
The Prosecution say the 33-year-old had planned to kill businessman Pirro Bare after being paid by Ilir Karcini, who is under investigation together with five others.
