Today has marked a decrease in the number of people infected with COVID-19, but again an increase in patient deaths.
During 24 hours, 3689 tests were performed, of which 916 citizens resulted positive. Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 445 cases in Tirana, 44 cases in Vlora, 35 cases in Fier, Kavaja, 30 cases in Durrës, 25 cases in Shkodra, and smaller numbers of infections in other districts.
Unfortunately 20 citizens died from the disease, respectively 7 citizens from Tirana, 4 citizens from Durrës, 2 citizens from Elbasan, 2 citizens from Kurbin, 2 citizens from Saranda, 1 citizen from Shkodra, 1 citizen from Lushnja, 1 citizen from Vlora, all aged 56-76 years.
In the last 24 hours, 849 citizens have recovered, while a total of 625 patients are being treated in the hospitals in Tirana and the three regional hospitals, 46 of which in intensive therapy.
