High infection rates, 4 Covid-19 patients lose their lives in the last 24 hours

Meanwhile, according to the Health Ministry, 155 people have been infected during the last 24 hours.

“The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informs you that during the last 24 hours in our country 847 tests have been performed to assess the infection and 155 people have been confirmed positive with COVID-19.

“The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows:
Tirana 77 cases, Durrës 18 cases, Elbasan 11 cases, Kamza 6, 5 cases in Kucova, 4 cases each in Korca, Lushnje, Vlora, 3 cases in Fier, Shkodra, Has and Cerrik, 2 cases in Kruja, Berat , Malësi e Madhe, Shijak and 1 case each in Devoll, Kukës, Kavaja, Mirditë, Mat, Divjakë.

“In the last 24 hours 58 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of recovered to 3986, since the beginning of the epidemic.
“Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi” 121 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are being treated, 19 of which in intensive therapy.
“Despite the efforts of doctors in the two COVID hospitals, 4 patients, a 57-year-old man from Vlora and three citizens from Tirana, a 68-year-old man, an 80-year-old man and an 82-year-old man with concomitant diseases, lost the battle with the disease. We express our condolences to the family.
