The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, asked the law enforcing institutions of his country to stay alert during the upcoming days.

“Our law and order situation is calm and stable, however, our authorities should stay alarted, in case something happens”, the Prime Minister said, after a meeting with the Kosovo Security Council.

According to him, some suspicious persons are circulating  Kosovo’s northern areas, probably entering from Serbia or other countries.

“Whoever enters Kosovo to create incidents, will receive a reaction from our law enforcers”, Haradinaj said, without giving any specific details.

When asked by journalists if Serbs could declare autonomy on August 4th, after handing over the draft-statute for the Association of Serbian Communes, Haradinaj said that Kosovo is within the rules of international agreements and no one can take unilateral decisions.

The Association of the Serbian Communes is a product of an agreement reached in Brussels by Prishtina’s and Belgrade’s dialogue.
