One day after the declarations that Albania and Greece are ready to find
a solution to the problems they have been carrying on for years, an
auditorium was held with the students of the Tirana University, hosted
by Top Channel’s Director of the News Department, Sokol Balla, and with
the presence of the Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotizas, who reminded
Albanians that the path to the EU goes through Greece.
“Albania is progressing as an European modern country and we want to be beside you in this reality. We will not allow for our northwestern neighbor to be under-evaluated. Together we will transform the future of the region. On the other hand, no one in Albania should forget that the future is related to the good relations with the southern neighbor. We should not under-evaluate the instruments and possibilities that Greece still has today”, Kotzias said.
Minister Ditmir Bushati brought a personal example for the war law.
“A girl named Hera attends an elementary school. When I visited her in Athens, her textbooks had the problematic that we know with the war law. The first question whose name is after a Greek goddess was why I was visiting a country that is at war with us”.
The last stop of Minister Kotzias was a meeting with the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha.
