The majority is taking another step to voting the draft-law that tries to end the informality and anonymity of more than 800 portals that operate in Albania.
The draft-law has received strong opposition, but the government is discussing it article after article, with two votes against and none abstaining.
The government representatives insist that the law does not damage the freedom of speech, on the contrary, it provides protection.
Gent Salaj, director of the Audiovisual Media Authority said that the Complaints Committee provided by the law should be composed only by journalists with more than 10 years of experience, while the government has only proposed to establish it with lawyers.
