Germany has increased pressure against Albanian politics for the passing of the justice reform.
Their warning said that if the justice reform will not pass on June 21st, Albania will not be left without accession talks, but will also lose the candidate status.
The Chairman for European Matters at the “Bundestag” said that “we have really support you, but we will not stand always behind you. You will also have us in the front”.
“All parties involved are aware of the responsibility they have. Our patience is not endless. The Federal Government of Bundestag supports you with every matter and this is how you have received the candidate status. But in the end of the day, we have the impression that the reform is not desired, that the fight against corruption doesn’t work properly, and we may decide to remove the candidate status”, said Gunther Krichbaum.
