The MPs of the CDU/CSU coalition will decide within September regarding the EU accession negotiations process of Albania.
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, is also expected to visit Berlin this Friday for further consultation.
According to Deutsche Welle, the MPs of the biggest parliamentary group in the German Parliament will focus intensively on their stance regarding Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
DW says that most of the MPs are inclined to give a “conditioned yes” to Albania, but there’s a strong minority which thinks that Albania isn’t ready even for this.
