Tirana Police announced that they have fined and revoked the driving license of a large number of people who had gathered yesterday near the National Theater, supporting the resistance against its demolition.
Among these people is the chairwoman of the SMI, Monika Kryemadhi, who stayed overnight at the theater together with the theater actors, as well as the party’s deputy chairman Petrit Vasili.
Kryemadhi along with Vasili and 45 other people who had gathered to challenge government’s demolition order for the theater, were fined and had their licenses revoked because they had gathered beyond the time bands allowed.
