A serious fire broke out in the Partizani neighborhood in the city of Vlora, suspected to have been caused by a leaking domestic gas cylinder.
The flames took over the one-storey apartment and also spread to a two-storey apartment next door. Thankfully there were no injuries.
Firefighters and police have gone to the scene to fully clarify the causes of the fire.
Local police stated in their notification: “On 12.11.2020, around 08:30, in the Partizani neighborhood, the apartment of the citizen D. R., about 90 years old, was engulfed in flames, but only material damage was caused. Police and fire services immediately went to the scene. The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
”
