A domestic gas canister exploded in an apartment in the village of Troshan in Lezha, injuring a woman. The 67-year-old had turned on the stove to cook, but the canister she had installed the day before, exploded. At the time of the explosion, the woman was alone at home.
As a result of the explosion, she was wounded in the face and was sent urgently to the QSUT hospital in Tirana.
The head of the family, Mark, told that the couple had returned only 2 days ago from the USA. Cases of such accidents in Albania are not few.
A year ago, four members of a family in Lezha lost their lives when their gas canister exploded in a hotel.
