On the same day, the Albanian Police arrested the former Prison Director, Arben Cuko, and the former Socialist Party MP, Arben Ndoka.
The former Prison Director was arrested on charges for power abuse and corruption during the time when he was on duty.
Former MP Ndoka was arrested for forging documents, abuse with property titles in favor of a criminal group.
A few days ago the Lezha Police took measures against a group of 11 officials of the Property Registration Office, who have allegedly altered property titles in the area.
The Socialist MP, Pjerin Ndreu, spoke against the operation and said that the police and the prosecution have acted in a very scandalous way.
