The court session for the security measure against the former Chief of
Crimes at the Tirana Police Department 1 started with his appeal.

The high rank police official, among the fewest of this area that ends up in detention, claimed that the recordings against him were illegal.

This was the strongest weapon of his defensive lawyer, who underlined that the audio and video recordings that show him discussing a 3500 EUR bribe should have been realized with a court authorization, rather than the prosecution.

But Judge Sokol Tona declared that this session would not review the legitimacy of the charges.

Prosecutor Ndini Tavani declared that the former Chief of Crimes, Fatos Goxho, is implicated in the illegal release of Ramazan Alla, caught by the police when shooting with a weapon while drunk.

The Prosecution claims that Alla’s son has paid money to the suspect, in order to guarantee his release as sick.

But after Alla left detention, he was summoned by the court for illegal arm possession.

At this point, Alla’s son reported the payment of the abovementioned sum, what caused the recordings to take place, while Alla asked the suspect about his money.

However, the Chief of Police says in the registration that the money was distributed to other people.
