The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, attended a high-level meeting for peace, organized by the UN.
“The complexity of global challenges we are facing right now requires a new and integrated approach for peace; new ideas and a more effective management of resources and means. On our opinion, prevention is the key word. The UN should create mechanisms able enough to identify the signs of possible conflicts and treat them in time”, he declared.
The UN role in this direction, according to Bushati, is essential.
As for Albania, the Minister said that our country remains fully committed and convinced to defend the human rights, supporting the UN platforms without reserves.
