The dead bodies of a father and son, who were taken by the waters of river Bogë in Shkodra, have been found after several hours of searching.
Yesterday, the stream of “Prekë-Nicajve” in Bzheta of Boga overtook their off-road vehicle in which father and son were traveling. The daughter was also in the car, but she managed to escape thanks to the help of the residents.
Multiple search and rescue forces are at the scene, where the victim’s car was located. They approached the crashed vehicle with a rope, and then pulled it ashore.
Meanwhile, 2400 hectares of land and 590 houses were flooded in the area of Shkodra last night, due to heavy rains and discharges of hydropower plants. The authorities announce that the hydrometer of Lake Shkodra at 08.00 marked the quota of 7.58 m, while the hydrometer of the Drin River marked the quota of 7.60 m, from 7.50 m, which is the maximum level.
