The EU Parliament Member, Knut Fleckenstein, hopes there will be no
boycott but dialogue between parties. The declaration was made after a
meeting of the Minister of Interior Saimir Tahiri in Brussels with the
European MP.

“I hope there will be no boycott in Parliament, but dialogue. We agreed that the parties will continue the dialogue for decriminalization, because the concern here is that this law has not been implemented due to the absence of sub-legal acts”, said Mr.Fleckenstein.

“I spokew ith Mr.Fleckenstein about the reforms undertaken by the government regarding the fight against corruption and organized crime, the reformation of the security system in general and other reforms that guarantee stable results in a long term for reinforcing the rule of law”, Minister Tahiri declared.

The “Prenga” case was brought to attention by the European MP, who requested explanations about this issue. Minister Tahiri said that the best answer for the situation is not boycott, but the passing of the sub-legal acts and a quick implementation of the decriminalization law. The Court of Serious Crimes has called for questioning the wife of a Supreme Court Judge who was fined three years ago.

This is the Supreme Court member, Admir Thanza, former member of the Constitutional Court and also member of the High Council of Justice, who had been extorted with an SMS by Arjan Kalaja, from Shkoder. The case was held secret due to the status of the victim, who is par of the Criminal College at the Supreme Court.
