The oil price has been a heavy burden for fishermen, not only for their family budget, but also as a cost that falls upon consumers.
“We have had our profits in this sector, because we used to pay oil abroad. But we needed days to fuel our ships”, says Mezan Mezani, Head of the Vlora fishermen.
They have one less problem today, but fishermen want to deepen the water around the dock and free it from sunken ships.
After the price reduction, it is now up to the market to reflect the lower price.
